What the terms mean
Cookies are small records that a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. localStorage is a separate browser feature that keeps values available to scripts on the same origin. Both can remember choices, but they behave differently.
What this static site uses
The site’s own code does not set HTTP cookies and does not include analytics, advertising pixels, third-party embeds or cross-site tracking. It can save a preference when you use the controls below. Accepting optional storage does not activate tracking because no optional tracking is implemented here.
The preference is stored under jumbiteammeter-cookie-preference in localStorage, with the value essential or accept. It contains no name, email address or contact draft. The record is not automatically sent to a server by this script.

How long the record stays
localStorage has no automatic expiry in this implementation. A saved choice remains until you clear it, change it, use browser settings to remove site data, or your browser removes it. Private browsing, storage restrictions and different devices may produce different results.
The message draft is different
The contact message tool keeps its current draft in page memory, not localStorage. Copying or downloading a draft creates information on your device through the clipboard or a file. Those actions are separate from the preference record and remain under your device’s controls.
Infrastructure and external links
Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information or use security mechanisms outside the page’s own JavaScript. External websites linked from these notes may use their own cookies and tracking. Their practices are governed by their notices, not by the choice saved here.
Managing storage yourself
Use your browser’s privacy or site-data settings to inspect, block or delete storage for jumbiteammeter.asia. Blocking storage should not prevent reading the articles, but it may prevent a preference from being remembered. Clearing browser data does not delete an email you sent or a file you downloaded.
